The Brief Introduction of Metcalfe Chain
Metcalfe Chain（MTC）is a new generation of intelligent traffic application aggregation public chain, in order to crack the key pain point of blockchain that cannot deal with large volume of Internet traffic.
On April 2019, as the MTC Intelligent Chain Version 1.0 released, we worked toward the aim of large-scale traffic commercial blockchain as a significant step. In the MTC Intelligent Chain 1.0, the core part includes putting forward a distributed intelligent traffic pool framework MTC ENGINE, establishing a Metcalfe token pattern which can be compatible with IPFS and cloud computing architecture, and implement parallel-chain and cross-chain management paradigm.
After more than a year of iterative upgradation, MTC Intelligent Chain was upgraded to version 2.0 in July 2020. Compared with the first version, Version 2.0 introduced a number of major improvement frameworks, including: 1) initiating an acquisitive intelligent governance architecture, supporting the traditional traffic credits system drainage into the MTC; 2) improving video traffic distribution mechanism, penetrate to node distribution mechanism, facilitating the large volume of video traffic; 3) establishing the first ecological application validate Metcalfe token pattern based on traffic management MBFT consensus.
If MTC 1.0 is regarded as the “light of the dawn”, it leads the direction for the great goal of MTC to realize the big application of blockchain, and tamp the next generation of traffic infrastructure. And then, MTC2.0 opens the era of “Ecological Journey” from the point to area, we are expanding the commercial frontier for large-scale traffic.
As a focus of the MTC eco-layout, we launched a blue ocean commercial program which is coded as M+. M+ blue ocean commercial program planned to use the support of manpower, technology and token pattern, fully utilize MTC’s advantages of “integrated traffic management”, “compatible of centralized and decentralized traffic paradigm”, promoting and nurturing intellectual chain application in high volume traffic application ecosystem, including live video, large-scale games, large-scale Ads, automatic driving (5G), IOT, CDN accelerator and so on. Currently, we have fully cooperated with ShowLike+ community to help it quickly integrate into MTC intelligent traffic ecosystem.
The mission of MTC is to crack the core pain point that blockchain lacking of large volume of traffic, and serve as new infrastructure, digital transformation, and 5G commercial ecology.
We are exploring the future hand in hand, retrace the road of the last decade of bitcoin. Since Satoshi invented Bitcoin at the year of 2008, it started a global journey of belief in the blockchain, successful promoting its decentralization and trusted technology. Now, we will rely on advanced MTC Intelligent chain, rely on its advanced MTC ENGINE, MER governance and Metcalfe model, establishing integrated traffic management paradigm, absorbing more large-volume traffic application, with its powerful member system, drainage centralized traffic to blockchain, driven by application, and reconstruct the commercial landing of large-scale traffic project.
